Saturday, September 30th is busy around the Lake. For a free, fun family event, look no further than Saturday morning on the Bagnell Dam Strip for Fall Spruce-Up and Decorating,
The event starts 9:00 a.m. in Luby’s Plaza, combining a fall clean-up with the traditional mum/corn stalk/hay bale staged settings suggesting the cornucopia of fall; its colors and harvest. Families, neighbors, school groups, organizations and BFFs are all invited to pitch in for cleaning and decorating the Strip. Businesses are encouraged to decorate storefronts as well.
All volunteers will be treated to a cookout after a good morning’s work. We will meet in Luby’s and disperse in small teams, meeting back for the cookout.
